So, Memorial Day weekend- three days with no school. Stay in Rexburg? HECK NO!!!!!! We decided to escape down to Midway for a few days....I begged my parents to let us have it and they were nice enough to reserve it. Oh my goodness it was so nice to get away for a few days!!! We had such a wonderful time and got to visit with lots of friends and sleep in and actually be in a house!!!! Man, after living in a tiny apartment with six girls for five months, this was absolutely GLORIOUS!!!! I had my own bathroom to get ready in and I could take my time doing so. We pretty much did not ever want to leave.
We had many adventures while we were in Midway......
We climbed the pyramids.......
Went for wonderfully scenic walks........
Explored little cave houses...........
Made some wonderful new friends (that didn't smell too good!)
And many other strange things......... silly Krissa Jo
Something really scary that happened to me was I got trapped in a sand-trap!!! i didn't know what to do!!! I felt so alone and so lost.
It was a very distressing situation, if you can't tell by my expression.
Luckily I soon escaped the sandtrap and was able to go to Provo and visit my wonderfully wonderful cousins whom you all know so well- Jennie and Kensie! And that's my friend Ian with us. We ate at brick oven, and of course it was amazing! And i had to be my same piglet self and get the marketroom buffet and make myself sick but it was SO WORTH IT!!!!
